How to Publish a Research Paper

1. Prepare your manuscript

2. Check originality

   1. Ensure your paper is original and properly cited.

   2. For RAMP submissions, manuscripts should include the required sections, and papers with high similarity scores may be rejected.

3. Find a suitable journal

   1. Search journals by subject area.

   2. Filter by discipline, country, publication model (free/paid), and other available criteria to identify journals relevant to your research.

4. Submit your manuscript

   1. You can submit directly to your chosen journal, or, where applicable, use the ABCD Index RAMP portal to have your manuscript routed to participating journals based on its content.

5. Peer review

   1. The journal evaluates the manuscript and may issue one of several decisions:

      1. Accept

      2. Minor/Major Revision

      3. Resubmit

      4. Reject

6. Revise and publish

   1. If revisions are requested, address the reviewers' comments and resubmit.

   2. If accepted, complete any required copyright forms and publication steps, including applicable publication charges if the journal requires them.
